Card Keeper

I am really bad about sending out birthday cards....I can remember birthdays but Heaven help me, I constantly forget to send out cards. My aunt is the same way. So I came up with a "Card Keeper" kind of like my Household Notebook. I took 12 envelopes and glues a "list" to the front- with everyone's name and their birthday and also anniversaries or other occasions I want to remember. Then I just put them in a notebook and had some fun decorating it....

I have color boxes for the  kind of cards that I make for different occasions. Like one for birthdays, one for get well, anniversary's and all occasion cards.

 

I have a calendar with every ones birthday and I update it every year or month.

I don't send cards. Just not something I have time for. I just send an email or make a call on the special day.

I have a shoebox that I store cards I make, pick up, or accumulate through the online promos (cardstore.com, etc) I covered the box with scrapbook paper and taped a list inside the lid of dates. Christmas cards I keep with Christmas stuff though, not in the communial card box.

 

 

....I use covered boxes for darn near everything lol
