5 year old bday party - Star Wars

DS's 5th bday party will be on Friday and I am now preparing. A couple of activities that I have prepared; I rented a bouncy castle (he loves to bounce and my neighbor rents them), a bomb (balloon) toss at Darth Vader, and "Catch the Villian" where the kids pop balloons and find pictures of different villians. And a "Droid detonator" hunt, which will basically be an Easter Egg hunt with small candy and surprises.

I found how to make lifesabors with noodles and duck tape but haven't really found any games for them to use the lifesabors and I don't want them hitting each other.

For snacks, cake, of course, pretzel sticks dipped in green-favored white chocolate and regular chocolate for the handles. Darth Maul Dogs, hot dogs with bread dough around their centers. And a Yoda drink, which is sprite a green ice cream.

Any other ideas or thoughts?

Sounds terrific.  I hope you post pics.

My friend bought a set of Star Wars sheets and used them instead of plastic tablecloths.  She found star wars toothbrushes for the goody bags.  I think that was the only themed stuff she did.

This is too late for your party but I remembered seeing these on pinterest.

I have seen those cookie cutters before but, trust me, if I bought those mine would look nothing like those cute cookies. Lol.

I saw someone carve the Death Star out of watermelon.

OMG! Kim, I love that. Here, I found a picture. http://laughingsquid.com/watermelon-death-star/

Though I am not sure if my talents can handle that and I lost my artist boy back in March.

Our piñata is one of the pull the strings type. I hate those.

I think I will have the light saber for the Jump the Lava at Matasfar and for catching the villain with the balloons. If they were older, I probably would let them hit each other but they are too young to enjoy that without someone breaking down in tears.

I am getting so excited about this party!

I use my cookie cutters more for sandwiches than cookies. I would not be able to decorate them!
