I didn't have an epidural with any of them. I was given something with my first but I don't even remember what it was. My middle ds was 10lbs 4oz and I delivered him without one drop of medication. It was complete torture.biggrin.gif   My third ds was only 7 lbs 15 oz and I didn't have anything with him either, but it felt like heaven compared to his older brother.

Yes I think all the people talking about having no medication probably had smaller babies.

I had an epidural with the first. I had arse for a Dr with the second. After finally getting my epidural due to a lack of people to do it because there was a trama case at the hospital he walked in and turned it off. Said he had some twins to deliver in a few minutes so I was having my baby now. Then he broke my bag. Then he was stitching tears with no pain relief and had to tell him I needed some. It was horrible back labor and no one even offered me any pillows.
