Do you always keep your nails painted or just for special occasions? - Page 2

My toes are usually painted.  I probably go more times without polish on my fingernails than with polish.

No, I don't know if I have any nail polish or not. 

I never paint my finger nails.I always have my toes painted.That is just something I enjoy doing.

I always have color on my toes but keeping nail polish on my nails is hard. I pick the paint off when I am bored. I usually try to keep a clear coat on them but if I get bored I will paint them.

Toenails, always, all year round.  Fingernails, I'd say about half the time they are painted.  I have short nails so it's usually a very pastel pink that almost looks like a french manicure.  Or sometimes I do silver sparkly polish.  That one is fun, like Phoenix said, "Let your inner Magpie shine through" or something like that.  I love that!

I once read that you 'should' keep your fingernails painted, even just a pastel that when it chips it isn't as obvious, because it shows high self esteem and that you care about how you look.  I know when I do it it's usually in the car when dh is driving, because I never seem to have the time to do it.  Maybe I should reverse that and do it first.

Oh and the Minute it chips, I mean the minute, it's gone.  Even if we're away, I will take off fingernail polish the minute it chips.

My fingernails are painted year round.  Right now I have ruby red nails but tomorrow for the 4th they will be sporting a bright blue with red and white stripes.

I paint toenails but not fingernails.

My toes are painted in the summer, but never my fingernails.  They're short and with gardening, typing, any sort of manicure wouldn't last longer than a day or two.  I might put some clear polish on for special occasions, but that's about it.
