If you nursed, did you also pump bottles?

I did..but it didn't work with all of them.  No matter WHAT I did with my third child, no matter what kind of pump I used...NOTHING!  But she was as fat as she could be off of my milk.  LOL

I did not. I barely had enough milk as it was just for them nursing. I've had numerous breast biopsies (they go in around your nipple) and I don't know if it was that or something else, but I certainly didn't have enough to pump. I did try it a few times and absolutely HATED it anyway.

I would ESP in the am when my baby started sleeping longer. I would pump after feeding her sometimes I would pump one side while she only ate one side I was so full.

I did for M, because I went back to work. I took two pumping breaks at work, and occasionally pumped an extra time at home.  I have a really nice breast pump, but I don't think it's always that. My SIL used it when she went back to work, and I was watching her baby, and I still had to give the baby 1 bottle of formula each day.

I did with all 3. DD11 I only pumped a very little for a short amount of time. DS4 I pumped a bottle a day until he was about 9 months. DD2 I pumped a nice freezer stash which all got thrown away because somehow it all went sour in the freezer! I must have pitched 60 bottles worth! I was sick to my stomac. I was lucky enough to work 90 seconds from home and they would let me clock out to come home and nurse whenever DD needed me too.

yes because I had so much milk and squeezing my boobies in the sink to release the milk seemed like a waste!  HA

I nursed all three of mine for about a year and pumped in between whenever I could so if I was not home they had breast milk.  My dh still says he hears that pump motor in his dreams it was going on so much for years at a time.LOL

I didn't really nurse with any of my kids. With my youngest, I exclusively pumped for a couple of weeks while she was in the NICU.

I did and it helped when he was away from me to send a cooler of frozen milk. There was also enough to give him even after I weened. I had a friend who was a good producer so she pumper as often as she could and donated it to the hospital.

I did not nurse any of them for more then a few months, but I did do a lot of pumping.
