Does anyone keep a journal?

I don't keep a daily journal with long entries, but I recently bought a Smash Book and have made it my "yearly" journal.  I mostly just scrapbook pictures and stuff about my son, so this is more of my personal creative outlet.  I put in my favorite quotes, memories, tickets or momentos, etc.  I keep my reading lists and such in there.  I decorate it up too with my scrapbook stickers and ribbon and such, but the pages of Smash Books are so pretty anyway.  I like that it comes with a nice pen with a glue stick on the other end that is attached and always with it.

Yes, but very rarely. I've been blogging since 1999 so I mostly do that.

I don't keep one.  I wish I did though, but I guess I just figure I don't have time for that.

I have one that I don't write in much anymore.  I mainly use it to vent--so that I don't walk around angry all the time.  It helps me work out my problems--just getting it down on paper.

I don't keep a journal per se, not in the diary sense of the word (either literary or pictoral)

I do have a gorgeous leather bound journal that I write quotes in that are meaningful to me at the time. It could be an actual quote I saw, a song lyric, something someone said to me, a passage in a book, etc. Just a little something that made me stop in my tracks.

The only journal I keep is a food journal for my weight watchers program.

I've journal since my teens. After I became a mom my journaling changed to jot down my sons' milestones/cute things they say or did. I used to write every thought of mine in journals, to vent, keep me focused, encouraging myself, etc. I read my past journals when I need to get myself back on track w/exercising, etc, but reality is my life before kids was not busy at all so now I barely even have time to write.

I write my feelings down on a blank Word document just to get them out of my head. I read it back to myself and then delete it.

I love to journal, but I am not very consistent.
