Do your pets get frightened when they hear fireworks?

My Lab and Great Dane could care less....but my Yorkie freaks out.

He sits on my lap the whole time it's happening.

They get nervous but not too bad. My brother use to have a German Shepard who would go NUTS. She would break windows, screens, walls. You name it.

One of my Shelties does. He hates them. Of course, his freaking out causes the othe 3 dogs to bark. This makes me not really care for fireworks, either.

Not really. She jumps after the initial "boom"- who doesn't?! But then she settles right down. My parents dog on the other hand...she runs for cover with ANY loud noise.

The horses get nervous, I make sure they are in their stalls if I know fireworks or gun shots will be going off. I don't want them racing around if they are in a panicky mind set.

All the pets could care less....except my mastiff. He turns into a wiggly, shaky mess and tries to practically crawl inside me. The kids will sleep through fireworks and thunderstorms, but I have to rock a 200lb dog in my arms lol
