How do you store your spices?

I just cleaned out my cabinets and organized the spices (and everything else redface.gif ) I used to keep them on the step type storage shelves, but b/c I'm so short it was a PAIN to try and get something from the top back shelf. Now I have stuff grouped together in like containers and opened up space behind it all...not to mention is is SO much easier to get something down when I need it!

How do you store/organize your spices? If you have some pictures even better wink.gif

mine are all shoved into my skinny cabinet next to the stove. Baking on one shelf, cooking on the other.

Mine are in a drawer. Easy to see and get to.

Mine are in a drawer. I don't have as many drawers in my new house, so some of them are in a box on a shelf up high.

The ones used for baking are in a the cabinet by the other baking ingredients.

 

The spices that I use for regular cooking and grilling are in a drawer.

Mine are in a lazy susan cabinet.  Unfortunately, this cabinet is right next to the stove and I know you aren't supposed to put them there.  But heck, what else can you store near the stove anyway?
