Easy- Peasy way to hull strawberries

Yay a Pinterest find gone RIGHT!

This is such a simple, fast (and kind of fun redface.gif ) way to hull a strawberry and the kids love doing it too. All you need is a drinking straw and your strawberries.

700

Place the straw at the bottom of the strawberry:

700

Then using a slight twisting motion push it through the strawberry:

700

Viola! Your end result:
(and don't waste that inside- the kids love to eat it, or better suck it out of the straw if the top gets broken off smile.gif )

Happy Hulling!

*Please excuse my strawberry splattered hands in the pics. In the middle of doing this I thought, Oh I should take pics and share it with Mommysavers!) .
I had to get these hulled and frozen before they went bad- DD goes on a kick where she REALLY wants strawberries, eats them for 2 days and then they are left to their own sad molding devices- these I decided to give a second chance and froze them for smoothies!

Shell, after you do this, you can also use a frosting bag and tip with softened cream cheese...and "shoot them up" with the cream cheese.  OH SO YUMMY (frozen, too!)!!!

Me too, I eat the whole thing, though adding cream cheese does sound good.
