My grocery store had their brand milk on sale this week for $1.99 a gallon. But that excluded whole milk, that was $2.79 a gallon. We buy whole milk at Costco for $2 a gallon. I usually just buy a half gallon, but the half gallon was $2.09 for the store brand, so obviously with the sale it was better to buy the whole gallon.
