Tips your Salesperson Wants You to Know

I found this article interesting and several points really good:

7 Things Your Salesperson Wants You to Know

1. Dress for the service you want.

2. Learn my name, and use it often.
3. Call midweek.
4. Tell me what I can do to make you happy.
5. If you want me to make an exception, come at the right time.
6. Ask me about unadvertised sales.

7. Say it on Facebook or Twitter.

I have a friend who I always see posting on store's websites about bad service and she always seems to get a quick reply!

What do you think?  Anything else you have to add?

Don't forget to comment on the GOOD Customer Service too! I had a GREAT salesperson at Best Buy Mobile a few months ago and I let the manager know, he said he appreciates the good as much as the bad- they need to know what they're doing right as well as wrong.

I always try and use the salespersons (or waiter/waitress) name...it's just more personable smile.gif
