Do you stretch or warm up before or after your workout or not at all?

I rarely stretch.  I usually just start out slowing.  If I'm going for a run, I'll walk for a bit before I start running.  However, lately I have been bothered by plantar fasciitis and realized I need to stretch my calves before and after I run.

 

What is your habit?

Since the only exercise I can do is walking and eliptical I just start slower to warm up.

Yes, I stretch before and after.   A lot of people leaving the gym during stretches.  I think it is important to do the stretches.

I agree that stretching is important; I just get lazy.

It takes enough effort for me to make the time to just exercise (not to do a physically demanding chore, but exercise for the point of exercise). I figure I'll get the most out of my time if I just jump into it haha   I know that's not correct, but if I'm crunched for time stretching just seems like a waste.

 

It's funny though, when I ride I religiously make sure the horses are completely loose and warm before beginning 'work', and are fully cooled down and stretched before ending our ride. When it comes to myself though? Nope, I never stretch or warm up or cool down.

When I run I will start out walking for the first song. When I do DVDs I do all the warm up and stretching with the DVD.

Okay, it's not lazy.  It's more that I just don't want to waste my time stretching.
