DD used to get colicky, a warm washcloth on her tummy did wonders to soothe her. It helps me when I have cramps so I figured it was worth a shot haha

I quickly figured out which food I couldn't eat and breast feed my oldest.

White noise like a dishwasher or dryer.

Pray.  A lot.  If you do that anyways.  With M she has just been completely inconsolable.  Nothing has worked.  I just tried to give myself a break and as long as she was safely restrained (in swing for example or crib) I'd duck outside and sit on the porch for a few minutes so I didn't completely lose my mind.

She's finally starting to out grow it (4 months) and it isn't as bad as before.  I think the only thing I found that even kind of helped was holding her tight with her belly pressed against my chest and my arms wrapped totally around her.  Then I walk around the house.

This is my first experience with colic though and for me the most helpful part was just knowing that's all it was.

My dd was colicky and the only thing that helped was me holding her and walking.  And walking.  And walking.  I wish I'd thought to get a pedometer.  I swear, I must have walked 20 miles a day with that child.  I remember when I went in for my 6 week appointment the nurse and doctor were all "Wow!  We've never seen a mom lose all her pregnancy weight and then some at her 6 week appointment!"  That's when I informed them that I had the colicky baby from h**l and walking with her was the only thing that helped.  I'd rather have still had some pregnancy weight and a non-colicky baby.

my baby dd loved being swaddled in a woombie.  Also a little sock with dry rice in it, you can heat it in the microwave (just make sure it is the right temp all around) and I put it on her tummy.

I take it then your lil man is suffering with this?  bless.

MIne weren't terrible but still had days of being inconsolible. I used to just give in to the fact that that was Gods way of telling me to slow the heck down. I would strip baby down to diaper and go topless myself. I would just lay with baby skin to skin. They would find a nipple to nurse or pacify. The night it was the absolute worst we had 4 sets of hands. Each of us would hold DS until we couldn't take it anymore then pass him off and leave the room. Dr always suggested car rides as a cure--with ear plugs! LOL We did many of those in hte late evening hours. I understand gripe water works wonders but I never tried it.

Are you nursing?  If so, are you taking iron supplements still?  If so, STOP for 10 days and see if it helps.  My pediatrician recommended it with my oldest son.  After weeks on end of him screaming all the time unless I was walking/jiggling him, wonder upon wonders, this was an instant fix!
