Did you get a shorter haircut after your baby was born?

With ALL SIX of mine, I did!  LOL  I just couldn't handle long hair and infants!  :)

Yes, I did with most of mine.

I got a perm after the first one (biggest mistake of my life); second one, no I think I kept it the same length; third one, I cut it really short right before she was born.  My advice to pregant moms--do not do anything drastic right before or right after the birth of your baby.   I was very hormonal and thought a new hair style would make me feel so much better--but it always made me feel so much worse.  Ha, ha...

Each child I have it seems to get shorter... I finally got a good look at myself the other day and YIKES!  Time to start caring again!  It just always seems the first thing to go, that time to make yourself look/feel nice in the morning.  But I went to the hairdresser yesterday and I told her my plan to grow it back out... so hopefully she'll hold me accountable.  smile.gif

Also, did not mean to imply women don't look good with short hair... I just don't.

No, if I didn't have time to mess with it, I just put it up.

I never had my hair shorter than shoulder length in as long as can remember!! If if really bothered me there was always the option of putting it up.   I think my hair is like a security blanket for me!! LOL

Not with my dd.  I always wore it in a ponytail which was easiest for me.

I have short hair now, the same style I had when my son was born.  Once I went to the inverted bob I haven't done anything else.

Yes.  I didn't have a choice.  I have thick, natural curly hair.  It was long when dd was born.  After she was born, it started making natural ringlets.  It looked so stupid!  I'd brush it out and an hour later I'd have a head full of ringlets.  I looked like a brunette Nellie Olson.  I tried doing various shorter lengths and still had the ringlet issue.  I finally gave up and just had it all whacked off and now it's super-short.
