Does a change in weather give you a headache? - Page 2

Wow, I'm so behind the times. I had no idea it was recalled. I've got a stash of bottles at home from a coupon that came out quite a while ago. Hopefully they won't kill me because I sure as heck am not trashing them ROTF.gif

Anyone want to buy some black market migraine meds? wink.gif

I just started to use a saline nasal spray to help with the "sinus" migraines (which I know are considered non-existence).  I'll let you know if it helps.  So far the one I had on Sunday-Monday did go away.

Thankfully I don't get migraines, but lately I've been getting change-in-the-weather headaches.  I've been taking ibuprofen for my headaches.  It takes a while for the meds to kick in, but eventually my headache goes away.

I think all of you who rely on Excedrin PM should call your doctor and ask for a prescription for the generic Imitrex.   It has been a life saver for me!

This happens to me as well, but I only have the kind of headaches you described a few times a year.  Still I do get sinus/migraines a lot, and as soon as I feel that first 'twinge' I take Motrin and if I think it's going to get bad I will take an Allegra D, that really helps me.  I always describe the feeling you have as my eyes feeling like they are being 'twisted in the back of them in my skull'.  Not a great visual, but to me that's exactly how it feels.

Ds gets them as well, I inherited them from my mother, and ds inherited them from me, his started at 8 though, mine didn't start until my early 20's.

Change in weather will sometimes cause a sinus headache for me or an actual migraine.  If you cannot find find Excedring Migraine because of the recall, try a generic for it.  Most stores have their own version of it.  I have a prescription for migraines, but try not to use it unless I absolutely have to.  One prescription is only 9 pills.
