Do you look at the keys as you type?

The advertisement for the EZ Eyes keyboard cracks me up.  I asked dh, "Who looks at the keys when they type? " He said that 75% of the people at work do.  Really???  I guess I didn't realize people did this.  I was taught typing in high school, on a typewriter.

I am teaching the girls to type with free online kids games.  They enjoy playing (learning) with the computer.

Like anything, if you do it enough it becomes habit. I just know where the keys are when I'm typing, I don't look. But if I was given a picture of a blank keyboard and told to write in where the letters go no way would I be able to do it haha

I do more on the iPad then a regular computer since I only use one hand on it.

We have a keyboard for the ipad.  Drives me crazy to use the touch keyboard.

I look at the screen when I'm typing, not the keyboard. I type really, really fast.

I only look if I have to use the shift key for something over one of the numbers, like the % sign or something. I watch the screen. If I am typing something from paper, I watch the paper. I am a fast typist & learned in high school on a typewriter as well. Every man I ever see at work types with 2 fingers and watches their hands. In meetings, I take very detailed meeting notes & my PC screen is shared out for everyone else to see, so they see the notes being typed in real time. People always comment on how fast the words they are actually saying show up on the screen.

Sweet.

dh works with mosty men. I guess his office is a higher percentage of people that look at their fingers.  dh doesn't type as fast as me but he did learn how to type.

Only when typing numbers.

Not unless I've got to use a key I don't use that frequently, but not for normal typing. DH DOES look at the keys though. He types very slowly and is a two finger typer also.
