Is you husband a big baby when he gets sick ????

My husband and I are both sick right now. He has a cold and I have strep throat.  I'm still walking around, throwing out the trash, picking up his meds, making sure he eats, drinks, and etc.  I've been going to work and finally today I had to stay home as per Dr's orders.  All he has done for the past couple of days is lay in bed and whine on how sick he is.  Are you kidding me???  Don't get me wrong, I love my husband and am always here for him but I think I've just had enough.  So sorry for ranting, I just had to vent.  Are you husbands the same way ?

Yep, the big joke with my SILs whenever our husbands are sick is "...is he sick?  or is he man-sick?"  --as in is he actually ill or just whining about a cold.

Yes, when he gets a cold you would think he was dying.

And when I get sick, he has no sympathy!!!LOL

Same thing here with my dh!

Ex would act like he was dying from the plague when he had a cold.

And if I had to judge, you are probably the sicker one!  He should be waiting on you. Strep is horrible until those meds kick in.

My Dh goes to his cave.  When he's out of it, he's a bear--you don't want to be near him.  When I'm sick, I just want to be left alone.

Yes he is! The funniest 'sick' is when I know he is hungover from the night before but evidently he thinks after a night of drinking he has come down with the plague and tries to say it's not a hangover but a cold. YEA OK BUDDY!! Either way, he milks it.

I would be tempted to play really loud music and tell him that the latest research on colds is that loud music and television help.

I have been tempted to do that, normally I just leave him home and go out and enjoy the day without him!

Diane, you are right, the doctor even said that.

Don't get me wrong, he is a very good husband and does alot for me, but when he is sick it's a whole different story.
