It was Crazy Days at our Salvation Army yesterday.  Everything in the store was half price.  I was happy with my finds!

Hardcover copy of "Unbroken" for $.50

New Ikea RIBBA frame for $2.25

Copper Bowl $4.25

Cast iron skillet $2.00

Antique egg beater $2.25

The bowl, skillet and egg beater will be great props for my food photography hobby.  I was thrilled to find them!

Great finds!

I really have to stop at my Goodwill store soon (it is literally up the road!) ...I need some frames for a project I'm working on!

I read "Unbroken". Be interested to hear if you like it. The author spoke here recently (I didn't see her) and someone I knew went and was raving about how much she loved that book. I found it interesting, but also a bit "much" for me.

I LOVE that frame! I have been looking for something similar but a little bigger

I actually picked it up for my mom, who reads a lot more than I do.  My brother read it and said it was good... but I'm not sure if it's my cup of tea.

A few of my recent thrift store finds from Goodwill:

Target topiary, tablecloth and candle (all NWT):

AppleMark

AppleMark

Cake pop maker:

We bid on (and won!) a couple Louis Vuitton items from the auctions.

My daughter got the LV wallet for $10 and the handbag for $26.  We took it to the LV store for them to look at it, and it is genuine.  Our best deal yet!

That is awesome on the LV!!!  I have that purse and I think it's hot, my stepmom got it for me for Christmas and she got it from some connection in Chicago, probably the mob! LOL!

My latest Goodwill find - a brand new pair of Banana Republic $90 jeans with the tag on still!

Wow!  I always look for jeans at Goodwill, but I rarely find any.  I got some "Miss Me' jeans there for $15, but they're really not my style.  It's not that I mind the bling on the butt, it's that the bling is in the shape of a peace sign.  That's not really my personality, but my daughter INSISTED I get them so I could be a "cool" mom.  I figured she'd probably steal them from me anyway!  I would much rather have those cute BR jeans.

I got a "new" pair of jeans (old ones were getting too big!), two long sleeved tshirts (I wear one every day under things in the winter), a sweater and 5 children's books, and a sweater for granddaughter and I paid $8!  I love thrift stores!
