I feel Broke right now. I just spent $2000 this weekend. But at least I paid my mortgage and a ton extra on the CC this week.
I think broke is not having available funds. I mean we have investments may even have some equity again we have assets but also considerable consumer debt. Because I am trying to be aggressive with the consumer debt I have been making weekly payments of whatever is left over after bills keeping only $100 in my checking. Its keeping me broke. Of course there is this brief shining moment every Friday where we get our income and before its spent.
Poor is not having the means to sustain yourself. Those who are forced to liquidate assets just to survive.
