What is your favorite movie moment?

Even if it's not your favorite movie, but it was such a great scene...what is it?

Off the top of my head: Bridesmaids when they're all trying on the Bridesmaids dresses..."Look away! Look away!"

Top Gun: The Volleyball scene

And Dirty Dancing: "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" And the final dance

When Madea cuts all the furniture in half in Diary of a Mad Black woman and then in Madeas Family Reunion when someone clangs the bell and all the family goes to the old slave shack. I love the little speech the woman gives. In Fireproof I love when Caleb is beating the tar out of his computer and the neighbor, Mr. Randolf, says hi. LOL

Thanks for that visual! She was hilarious in that movie, I love it when she honks on the freeway after leaving the shower and the van is full of dogs, her face is priceless

Jaws: USS Indianapolis speech, absolutely terrifying - and when the Chief and the youngest kid are sitting at the table and the kid is copying him and does the scrunched up face and 'claws' oh my gosh it's too cute

Napolean Dynamite: THE dance

Pulp Fiction: When Marvin gets shot in the face in the backseat of the car - Samuel L. Jackson's entire scene in the apartment

Clerks: When the guy is getting a porn movie in front of the kid

Old School: When Frank the Tank takes a tranqualizer dart to the neck

Burn After Reading: Brad Pitt's numb character trying to make tough negotiations on the phone, and when he gets shot in the face

There's Something About Mary: "I work with retards."

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest: Danny Devito's character when they're playing cards  "I bet a dime"

And because I've been forced to watch it a million times and still crack up, in one of the Winnie the Pooh movies when he's a "little black rain cloud"

I'm also pretty darn fond of buff shirtless guys kicking ass

I'm not a big fan of Tom Cruise, but I love the scene in "Last Samurai" where the widow of the man he killed is dressing him in her husband's armor.

Funeral at the end of Backdraft where you see all the Chicago fire engines, Kurt Russel's son in the movie walking with Billy Baldwin, the ringing of the bell, and when they salute his widow.

I don't care how many time I see that seen I will always be moved to tears.

You "GO GIRL"!!!!

I have so many:

The Graduate: Right at the end where Ben (The graduate) and the girl he loves is getting married to someone else, Ben disrupts the service, and as the people are screaming at him, he takes the cross from the church and jams it into the doors so that they can't follow him and the 'bride'.  Then they hop on a passing bus, and have laugh exhausted - then they get this look of "Oh God what have we done" on their faces.  Priceless.

The Nutty Professor (the original) where Buddy Love is drinking his potion and his bird, a Raven, says to him, "Think about it Julius, think, think, think about it".

Halloween: when the two teens are in the bedroom and one goes to the kitchen, little does the one left know that Michael Meyers actually comes back into the room under a sheet pretending to be a ghost.

Whatever Happened To Baby Jane: that classic scene where poor Blanche is in the wheelchair and says, "If I weren't in this wheelchair Jane" and Jane (Bette Davis) says, "But ya ARE Blanche, ya ARE in that chair!"  Chilling!!

I have so many favorite movies, it's impossible to pick.  Most are Hitchcock films and I have favorite scenes from each and every one of them:

Rope: When Jimmy Stewart's character realizes that one of the guys has killed their friend, and the one that had a hand in the act starts playing that tune on the piano over and over and gets drunker and drunker.

Psycho: When Marion Crane decides to turn herself in with the money, and puts the money in the suitcase which she never gets to return because she gets murdered soon afterwards;

Vertigo: When Jimmy Stewart's character tries to remake Judy into Madeline; and when he has a nervous breakdown and his female friend Midge weirdly says to him, "Mother's here" as she's comforting him - What??  She's his ex-fiancee, very strange.

And too many others to list!

Some that come to mind:

You can't handle the truth (Jack Nicholson in Some Good Men)

You complete me (Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire)

I'll have what she's having (When Harry Met Sally)
