7/16-Any Deals?

Have you fnd any good food deals this week??

I did not have a lot.

I got some great deals with my E-Vic card at Harris Teeter, extra savings on already on sale items plus I can use coupons on top of it!! Also, our Harris Teeter has some local produce in store now. I actually got some great store bought tomatoes and the price was not to bad.

Save-A-Lot helped me on meat this week.

I am a little upset about my local Kroger. They seem to not have as much stuff on manager's special, and they are waiting longer to reduce stuff. So I have to visit the store more often to find the deals, which means I always end up walking out with extra stuff. So I am going to have to figure out a new strategy.

I actually did really good with Harris Teeter over the weekend smile.gif

They had an e-vic special (thru the 19th) bread- .77 cents

beer (Miller 64!) was on sale $10.99 an 18 pack

And I utilized my coupons on top of the sales too-

(non-food) Head & Shoulders shampoo was 2/$10, I had a BOGO coupon (P&G insert) so I paid $5 for 2.

(non food) Bic Soleil razors- sale: $4.99 , I had a $2.00 of coupon so they were only $2.99

Tetley Tea- BOGO sale ($2.65) , plus $1.00 coupon, so I got 2/$1.65

Dr Pepper 10 was on sale $1.19 - $1.00 coupon so I only paid 19 cents

and the best deal was Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cereal- it was on sale for 2/$4 plus $1 off (instant) when you buy any 2 so that was 2/$3 then add my 70 cent coupon- double it and I paid $1.60. 80 cents per box of cereal! I had 2 coupons and the instant limit was 2 uses so I got 4 boxes of cereal for $3.20
