Start thinking Halloween - decor and costumes.
Typically, thrift stores will hold back items that area good for Halloween costumes then put them out closer to the date. However, when in thrift stores now, keep Halloween in the back of your mind. You might find something that hasn't been pulled from the racks yet or picked over.
The same goes for clearance sales in the Big Box stores. I'm seeing tons of Christmas themed items on the clearance shelves right now. While those items see like dust catchers in July, it is only a few short months until I'll be considering those items "oh so cute".
