One thing I am doing is making sure my husband is home (and in uniform) whenever I meet with someone. DH is going to be around on and off because of his schedule rotation so I feel parents should meet him. The only exception is the interview I was supposed to have today. The mom introduced herself to DH at work Fri night. She didn't show for her appointment today but I am not ticked. She just got off of 3 12 hour midnight shifts. She most likely is still sleeping. I know my dh is.
