Any one watching Big Brother 14 this summer? if so what do you think of the twist?

I've seen a couple episodes - the first one and one last night.  I think I missed one on Sunday.  I am a Britney fan, so I hope she does well.  Janelle is from MN so I guess I have to root for her too (team blonde ambition).   I'm not quite sure how it all works with the coaches and the contestants.  So, if all the contestants from one team are gone, the coach goes too (I assume?). 

Yes, I'm a Big Brother addict...and I do mean addict. I go to a board that has an ENORMOUS Big Brother forum. It's so busy you can't even keep up with all the new posts. I swore I wasn't going to be as addicted this year as I was last year, but I'm already sucked in BIG TIME.

I LOVE Britney, one of my all time fave contestants, and like Janelle and Dan too, so I'm MUCH happier with the vets this year than I was last year. I despise Boogie though so hope he's not the coach that wins.

On the board I'm on almost everyone watches the feeds and they do a running update on what's going on. The stuff that goes on in the house that you never see on TV is unbelievable . Most of the addicts say it's the best 1st week, on the feeds at least, they've ever seen. Major drama and switching of alliances, and backstabbing, etc already in wk 1. There was a HUGE fight this week and everyone is wondering if they'll show it tonight on TV.

Most of the time I'll know who's going home before the vote since you can see the house guests debating and plotting on the feeds. But they've changed their minds....no joke....at least 10 times this week. Last evening everyone thought FOR SURE they knew who was going, then one house guest (don't want to spoil it) got called into the diary room and came out with a totally different plan and now it looks like the OTHER person is going home. Yes, the diary room will mess with their mind and try to manipulate them into doing certain things. Some people are easily manipulated, but some aren't. For instance in Hayden's season they really pushed hard for him to nominate someone or vote someone out (can't remember all the specifics) but Hayden refused.

What board do you go to?  I've been looking for a good one.  It sounds like it's been an interesting day!

It'll show up right top who is HOH, who was nominated, who won POV, etc. I linked you to the main discussion board. But there are about 8 or so BB discussion forums. They also have great discussion forums for all the major shows. I loved doing the American Idol one for example. Everyone discusses the shows while they're live, so it's sort of like sitting in your family room with a bunch of friends talking about the show as it's going on.

Something MAJOR, MAJOR, MAJOR happened last night in the house. I'm not sure how they'll show it tomorrow night. I doubt they'll show everything that went on, but it's a HUGE game changer. For me personally, I think it might have ruined the season. I'm not happy at all about it. But it probably depends on who you're rooting for.

 

What was that?  What's-his-name (Survivor Guy's brother?) getting evicted?  Did I miss something?

Yes, there was a huge fight I guess and they evicted Willie Hantz. Now Brit's down to only two players (probably one after tomorrow night) so they went from being probably the strongest team to probably all being out soon. I love Britney so that disappoints me. The feed watchers loved Willie (probably the fave of everyone) because he was the only interesting character out of the newbies. Most of the others are pretty bland or downright awful. Of course TV only watchers usually see things differently since the show's so edited. But I can't STAND Joe, Wil, Frank, or Ashely, so I have few people really to cheer for now.

I couldn't wait for this show to start and I failed at keeping up with it I guess I gave up its tough to get the "big" tv with all the boys sigh!

How is Brit doing I really would love to see her till the end! Frank, that guy is a jerk!

I still love Brit! She's doing fairly well. she's in an alliance that seems to be the most winning one, so I think she'll go fairly far. There's about to be a HUGE move (will probably be on TV wed, night). I'm still loving it, actually MUCH better than last season, but I wasn't a fan of any of those vets last year.

I'm still watching.  I am glad the coaches get to play as contestants now.  They are my favorite cast members anyway, so the longer they stick around the better.
