Who knew???  Who knew you could use your muffin tin for more than just cupcakes and muffins????

These are a few ideas I saw on Facebook the past few days.

Or how about these cute bowls for a taco salad??

I have also seen one  in the past where you put cookie dough on the upside down muffin tin, and it makes a cute little bowl for a ice cream sundae!

What nifty ideas do YOU have for your muffin tins????

I love how I saw the idea about the tortilla bowls and then all of a sudden there is a company selling another gadget to take up space in your cabinet to do the SAME thing! No thanks, I will stick to my mutil-function muffin pan!

Years ago, before there was such a thing as pinterest, I made biscuit bowls using grands biscuit over the top of the muffin tin bottoms like that. (like swishina's cookie bowls) They you can fill them with soup, stew, etc. They were quite yummy!!

I have taken the smaller baking bowls and use bread dough (biscuits that are ready to cook) and turned it upside down to make bread bowls for salads

Because if there is something a salad needs it's a few strips of bacon ROTF.gif

I never thought of turning that pan upside down, and I've got a few of them, all sorts of different sizes.
