I have a Strawberry Shortcake mug I've had since I was a little girl and a Mickey Mouse mug a friend brought me from Disney World in middle school. Other than the coffee cups that came w/ our dishes we have no other mugs or coffee cups, we just don't care for coffee or hot tea, and I enjoy cocoa in my MIckey mug!
We do, though, have a huge variety of big plastic cups, travel mugs, sports bottles, etc from sports teams, dh's employer, my last two employers, a ton of vendors from one of my old employers, and other advertising kind of stuff on them! Out of all of them there are about 6 that we use on a regular basis and the rest are on the top shelf (out of reach and rarely used) or in a box in the basement. For some reason my niece is always in need of a cup or bottle, and dh will use them at work and they get left behind or lost, too, so I just keep the extras.
