Do you have a picture wall?

In our old house we had an entire wall dedicated to framed family photos. Our engagement photo and wedding photo was in the middle and we put photos of all of hubby's family on one side and my family on the other. Children and friends were scattered on both sides.

Now that we've moved, I have many of the pictures in frames but I'm not sure where I want to hang them all.

I have a long back entry hall wall but no one would see them there. I could put them in the dining room but I have a different style planned for there. I think it would make the living room look too cluttered and the main hallway too narrow.

I could put them in the front door entry - you know, that dedicated to the door that no one uses. The rabbit's cage is currently in the entry but only takes up one corner. I have plenty of other space for the pictures. I'm also thinking of putting a little bill-paying desk in that space, too - something furniture looking.

If you display family pictures, where are they?

We had something similar to what you describe on a wall in our front room in our old house.  Now it's on a smaller wall above the kitchen table - just a big family picture, one of the kids on one side, and one of us on the other.

Our entry way is rounded (!) or else we would have put them there.

Everywhere!  I have three or four photo canvases.  In our family room, I have a display wall with these Pottery Barn gallery brackets-

In the basement, we have a ledge over the entertainment center where we have a photo collection.  I'm a photography buff, so I have my snapshots everywhere.

We don't have a wall, but we have ne of those tall side tables in the living room (that usually go behind a couch) where we have all our family photos.

All over the place we don't have much art but I like the family photos better. Above our couches is the main ones.

I have changed the photos in some we had way too many of our baby girl we did newborn 2,4,6,9,15,19, month and a ton at 2.5 with her. We missed the 3 year old photos though with the move and her 4 year old came closer to 5 and were done with the newborn.

Little guy has Newborn, 6 & 15 month pics so far. So I took many of my daughters down.

Still it is only cost of frames that keeps me from going crazy 9-12 ft rooms we have a lot of wall space to fill and have a ton up with more space still.
