Do you own a Deep Freezer? - Page 2

We have a chest freezer, as well as a stand up freezer.  The chest one holds all our beef and lots of odds and ends.  The upright holds all my freezer meals that I make, as well as my freezer jam that I just made a week ago.  I like them both, and I think they save us some money.

we have a stand up freezer in the basement. meat and what not goes on sale for a good price then i will stock up and its also excellent for storing leftovers for another day and bread on sale too. nothing gets wasted here.

At my old house I had one because I had a HUGE garage. I found that I didn't utilize it like I should. But there are also only 2 of us versus having a family to feed so food was going bad. I wish we had space for one now because even though it is just the two of us still, DH has been wanting to bbq more and we can't buy as much meat at once as we would like to.
