Do you buy extra school supplies when they are on sale?

 

 

If I find a really good deal on an item I buy more than what is listed on their list. It never fails that they need replacement supplies towards the end of the school year.

absolutely! Last year it was a good thing too because I had an internet friend who was horribly upset that she couldnt get her kids all htat they needed. I was able to fill her 2 kids lists with the exception of post it notes (which DH decided to go buy them) from my stash. This year my friend who is getting divorced could use the help. Thinking I might send a goody box to my friend from last year. Plus we always need notebooks, pens, paper and glue for one thing or another.

Yes!  We don't even have anyone in school yet, still I browse the school supply section like a mad woman!  We use notebooks and pens all the time around our house, as well as binders for lots of farming paperwork.  I love Back To School season!

I buy extra crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc. I use these for the shoe box Christmas gifts that our church collects for Operation Christmas Child.

I always did. If they didn't need them later for school, they were still helpful to have here at home.

I always did too.  I think I can finally stop buying some of them too now.  as they are getting older some of those supplies are not necessary and I have a ton still that I'll probably donate.  paper, pens, staples stuff I use at our home business as well as my office here so I'm always looking for deals on them.

I did too.  And as a result I still have a stockpile and haven't had to buy any in the last two years.

i have a lot leftover from last year to do this year but i will still buy it if its on sale this year...DD is going into grade 10 and still has a couple more years to go yet.
