Need workout dvd suggestions

Thread Starter

I'm looking for a good, melt away the pounds, workout at home dvd.  DH and I started to do Insanity, but I can't do it.  It sends shooting pains up my back and makes it hard to breathe.  I do Zumba once or twice a week but I need something to do at home too.  I do have the Zumba dvds, but the class is MUCH better! :)

What do you like to use at home?

My main indoor activity is step aerobics.  Of course, you need to purchase the step first and it usually comes with a video.  Most of the videos I have gotten are pretty easy, but I still work up a sweat.  For me it is inbetween a good fast walk and a run.  I also have a tread mill that I use during the winter and a few kick boxing videos.  I'm not into anything intense.  I just want a good middle of the road workout.

Jillian michaels 30 day shred is good. She is kinda irritating though, but better then some others

I do Leslie Sansones walk away the pounds. I have several of hers. Different intensities too which I like. I suggest you check out your library for some before you buy any.

I'm not hard core enough for Insanity. It is too intense for me. I am a Beachbody coach and I right now I'm using Chalean Extreme and I'm about to start Turbo Fire. What are your goals? How much do you want to lose? What do you like in your workouts?

I agree about checking out the library first.  That is what I did.  I like Kathy Smith DVD's.  She can be annoying, but her workouts are good.  The one I use is Kathy Smith Cardio Knockout.

I liked some of the P90X videos.

If you have a Family Video near you, they let you borrow work out videos free of charge.

I think I need to try that one, my SIL is doing that right now and it sounds like she is doing good with it.
