  • Used a coupon for an oil change
  • Got a raincheck at Walgreens
  • Got free body wash and a couple other great deals at Target
  • didn't spend any money eating out - not even $1 when I took the kids to IKEA for free lunch Tuesday
  • Used the H&M coupon to get some winter clothes for the kids

I dried at least 8 loads of clothes/sheets and blankets on the lines outside. Asked my MIL to get a couple of things at Jo-Anns to save gas today!

My DH's store had a sidewalk sale, I got brand new a double sink, a shoplight for our garage, a new faucet for our bathroom sink, and a set of sterlite containers for $20- all brand new just damaged boxes!

A local church had it's annual clothing sale, the last hour is the bag sale, I got for my oldest a brand new swimsuit, 2 pairs of jeans, and an Old Navy pea coat, for youngest DD I got her 2 pairs of pj's, a few shirts, for me I got a london fog winter coat, about 6 new shirts for my new job (Full time- start on Wendesday), 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of shorts, and finally a pair of shorts for my DH!  Spent $10!

and finally I hit a yard sale also and got, DH paslode nails (which are usually really expensive), coil nails, aluminium sheeting, a few new drill bits, 2 jack stands, a set of ramps, and 2 cookbooks (fast and easy & crockpot- for the reality of a full time job for me-LOL!) for $50 bucks!

Oh- I also forgot!  I went to the thrift store and got myself 2 new pairs of shoes, 2 new pairs of pants, and 3 new shirts- spent about $30 but I currently only have "winter" work clothing (since I typically only work in the winter/early spring time).

Went to the park instead of the rec center (saving $8). Only went though b/c they were working on something at the rec center and it was closed. Filled up the boys cups with water before we went so they could play longer.

Went to $1 movie morning on Tuesday, brought juice and goldfish crackers for boys to snack on instead of buying snacks. Saved rain water to water garden all week, bathed with boys (they're 2 and 3) to save on water. Rode with DH to his school to help him set up his classroom, ate free lunch they were offering for teachers.

We hung out at the county fair all weekend, so my honest answer would probably be nothing!! :)  But we did eat a few meals at home, instead of the fair, so we definitely saved there!

okay I think I'll be saving $ by putting all my wash outside today but on the downside I think I'll be needing to get the dryer fixed!! LOL
