School doesn't start yet for weeks and we already got a fundraiser in the mail

It's a bit early for fundraising material. mad.gif

In the mail we got a Schwans order form for the middle school's truck sale.

I'm saving my money and ordering for the truck sale for other dd's school later in the fall. (Lower economic bracket, we need all the help we can get for fundraising there, and I'm protesting getting this one 3 weeks before school actually starts).

Good Grief, it is early.

That's pretty ridiculous. I'd just throw it in the trash.

That wouldn't bother me. Obviously no one has to order, but some parents might order from Schwans anyway, so they might as well support the school at the same time.

It wouldn't bother me per se, but I would just throw it away as well.

I just paid $45 for fundraiser T-shirts. Two T-shirts for DD that she can wear to school on certain days; one for me to wear to PTO events.

ugh I hate having fundraisers thrown down my throat - and with school not even starting for 3 weeks here - that would go right in the garbage!!

Wow. That is early.  I'm irritated with fundraisers.  The PTA spent $1500 on school supplies.  The PTA is going to turn around and ask parents to give money for fundrasiers.. doesn't make sense.

Our PTO has sent out flyers for our back to school yard sale only because it is being held before school starts.
