Curious about your views on eating if you workout.

I need "I work out and just eat less of _______, so I don't feel denied" That said I don't think you should workout just to eat bad stuff, seems to defeat the purpose of trying to get healthy.

I'm with Tomsgem. I also work out to keep my mood up, not just for health and calorie reasons, it's amazing the difference that just a walk can make.

If I work out, it's just so I don't feel guilty about how much I eat. I am a really big eater, and eat a lot of sweets.

When I'm working out, I am much much much less likely to eat junk. I don't want to ruin my awesome workout by eating a donut. That would be like completely wasting all those calories I just burned. LOL

I said the one that I can eat... but usually it is something in a quantity that is not going to affect my workout. I don't let things totally fall to the wayside usually but I feel less guilty about a snack if I workout.

I work out for the health benefits, but I also told myself I would never put on the weight that my mother did.  She has struggled with it her entire life and has been miserable.  So I also work out so that I can eat what I want.  I have a very hard time with diets.

I work out and eat to be healthy.  I eat more or less depending on what my body NEEDS to be healthy.
