I eat whatever I want and I work out when I feel like it. Working out keeps me more mindful of how much of something I'm eating and keeping moderate portion sizes but has no effect on my choosing to eat a slice of cheesecake over an apple for example. I also don't equate a slice of cheesecake with a one hour run or anything like that, it seems disheartening to look at it from that view. I maintain a good weight pretty naturally though just by adopting an everything in moderation angle.
