Who drives? - Page 2

DH is a HORRIBLE backseat driver. If I drive and he's in the car I want to kick him out of the vehicle 2 minutes in, so I basically refuse to drive him unless it's a designated driver situation or something. I already feel bad for the kids and they are nowhere near driving permit age rolleyes.gif

Fortunately he usually just drives now so that doesn't come up very often anymore haha

Last time we bought new cars, we both got the same kind. It's been great. We both know just where everything is on each others' cars. Yes, the seat/mirrors have to move, but I know where his cruise control, lights, locks are - how the radio works. It's completely familiar.

Generally, my van I drive, his truck he drives. I avoid driving his truck at all costs.

If it's long distance (more than an hour), I drive, else he drives unless i'm the DD that night.  I get car sick in the passenger or rear seat on long trips so I prefer to drive.  And it definetely doesn't have anything to do with who wears the pants.
