Do you have crisco on hand?

Thread Starter

The cupcake liner question got me thinking after a few people say they just grease the cupcake pan. I never have crisco on hand just the thought of it grosses me out. I only keep cooking spray for greasing things.

So my question is even if you rarely use it do you have crisco in your cupboards?

I make every effort to steer clear of any hydrogenated oils. No Crisco in my house.

My mother still uses it and I did when I was first married.  Not any more.

both my gramdma's used it in their cooking.  I remember them frying rosetta's in it.

I don't use it.

I have crisco sticks in my fridge. One box of 4 sticks lasts me like a year or more but I have it. I have a few recipes that call for it.

I have never bought crisco in my whole life and I'm older than shyt. I just either use a cooking spray or wipe some oil in them.

I don't use Crisco or other shortening. I grease my pans with butter or olive oil, depending on what I'm cooking.
