Whatever I can get cheap

I have no clue the type of steak I will buy. I usually look for what's affordable, but not too lean since I don't want to dry it out on the grill. I admit to not being great at cooking steak.

When it comes to grilling the more expensive tender cuts make a world of difference between the cheap cuts that are best used for jerky.

We like New York Strip the best.

I crave steak about twice a year and I don't really know what I get.... whatever isn't too expensive and looks good.

I don't buy red meat anymore...but if I want a steak dining out I get a Filet Mignon.

Definitely a Flat Iron steak.  You can't ask for a better steak!
