If you could live one year of your life all over again without changing a thing,

what year would you choose and why?

There was good and bad in all of my years, all of which define who I am. I wouldn't choose to voluntarily revisit any knowing that I would need to relive the bad moments without being able to do anything different about them. To revisit good moments and not be able to extend them would also be far too bittersweet. I choose to try and just live each day rather than focus on what did happen or could happen.

1996. It was 2 years before my Mom died. It was the year we took her on a trip to Poland, Germany, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. Later that year, DH and I returned to Prague on our own. Best year ever - easily.

Sounds like a wonderful time!

Mine would be 1986.  I was 23, had some fantastic adventures with close friends, had met Dh (and gotten engaged) and just felt very confident in myself.  I always tell my girls that 23 was my favorite age.

No I don't have a year I would live over.

I would relive my Senior year in high school and the following summer.  I had a foreign exchange student that I got to be really good friends with.  We had a lot of fun times together.

Probably the year I met dh and realized from day one that he was 'the one'.

I don't think I'd want to live an entire year over. I feel like I've "been there, done that" and want to move forward with the wisdom and experience I've garnered over the years. There are experiences I'd love to live over (like when my kids were born) but not the entire year.

I wouldn't want to live a year over either.

But seeing as how it almost killed us both, I don't think I'd like to relive giving birth either.
