well since my dryer had broken last week and I had to put my clothes out on a line - it was not as bad as I thought - so I'm continuing this until the cold weather.  Its so hot here they dry so fast its not even funny!

Margie, I do the same.. air dry it is!

As far as savings, this past weekend we did major groceries, and we had lots of coupons and fared very well at the end. The best deal was some Gillette cartridges DH needed. We went to Publix, they take competitor coupons, I had $5.00 off Target coupons, plus $1.00 off coupons from Publix, plus manuf coupons for $3.00. The cartriges were $11.00 so we ended up paying $2.00 each after the coupons!! He's a happy camper and has stocked up "for the rest of the year" as he said! LOL!

Today i had to buy a pair of heels for my brother's wedding so i used a 30% off coupon on them.   Plus i got a gift card $10 from Kohls to use & i think i'll go & get my nylons there.  My oldest DD did my toenails.....she's been practicing on giving everyone pedicures & she's actually pretty good.   I had a co-worker comment on my toenails today  & i proudly told her my daughter (age 11) did them.  My dog's groomer called to cancel his appt for tomorrow......something to the effect that they're having water & electrical problems there, so i called Dh's cousin & asked him to shave our dog & he said he'd do it for nothing ($41) savings!!!

Well I have tried to stay out of the stores. I did get dd 2 pairs of jeans and 5 long sleeve shirts and a hoodie at goodwill for 1/2 price each plus I found a corell white baking dish with lid for $2 so I got all of that for under $13 bucks.

Stocked up on shredded cheese for the winter since Hy vee has their brand on sale for $1.18 I bought the limit of 10 to stuff in my freezer.

Stayed out of the stores on my lunch break & stayed home in the evening & had ice cream at home (DH wanted me to take him & the girls out for ice cream last night).  Also at the bread store after work yesterday I had a BOGO coupon on my whole order...i bought 4 things & only paid for 2, plus I gave the guy ahead of me a $5 to use on his order....he was so appreciative!

Free ice cream cones for the girls from coupons from library reading programs

Picked up the free pens at Target by using the coupon.

Checked out 21 Jump Street from the library to watch.

At the library picked up the following for their summer reading program: free book, $5 gift card to Half Price Books, and $10 to spend in the library book store.
