Does your city have regulations regarding having garage sales?

Is there a limit on the number of sales you can have a year?

Yes. You have to get a permit to have a yard sale and you can only have 3 a year at the same address.

You have to have a permit if there are more than 3 at the same address I believe.

Don't think there are any rules except you have to remove all your signs.

In my township, a permit is not required, but you are only allowed 1 per year.

no permits or rules here on amounts but you do have to remove your signs.

No rules ... Except evidently we are not legally allowed to stick signs to telephone poles. Saw a news article on that lately.

They only allow 2 per year.  No permits are needed, but a man (who I think runs a pawn shop or flea market) drives around on Saturday mornings, keeping a log of yard sale addresses.  He reports those who break the rule.

We're out in the county and out in the country. I'm lucky if anyone even KNOWS we're having a yard sale.

Really?  I guess my neighbors and family are all lawbreakers then. lol  No one I know who's had a yard sale has gotten into trouble for not having a permit.
