Dealing with Irritable Teen Girls - Advice Needed - Page 3

I didn't get pms but when my actual period came I was a nightmare!  Avoid. At. All. Costs.  I had very painful periods, and I took Midol for them.  Back then (not sure if it still is now) Midol had caffiene, which I am sensitive to, but didn't know it then.  It just made me hellish and incredibly nervous all at the same time.

However, I never go so bad as to if my mother said to "Watch It!" that I wasn't more careful as to how I treated her or other family members.  Ignore it you can, but I'd also call out as needed.  She might not be able to 'help it' but that still doesn't give her the right to constantly treat people like *rap (I'm talking about me by the way, not the OP's daughter).

I never argue with her, because that is what she wanted.

Good advice.  It's hard not to get sucked into an argument sometimes.

I know.  Sometimes it helps just knowing so many of us are struggling with this.

No, not yet.  Maybe it takes time to sync up like that?  It's probably good we're not PMSing at the same time.

Ask your Dr. if she can take a midol or Aleve for many years naproxim sodium was prescribed for periods. I find midol works really well to control my moods and bloating and cramps.
