If you buy the cooked rotisserie chickens at a grocery store - Page 2

I buy them once in awhile from Sam's and as far as I know they have only one basic flavor.  I like them, for the two of us we get at least a couple meals from it, it's quick & easy for $5.

We just had one last night and it was the regular flavor. Sometimes I'll get lemon pepper or garlic herb or the BBQ depending on what sides I'm having. Quick easy and we usually get at LEAST two meals out of them.

I didn't know they came in different flavors either. I just think they are plain nasty.

Same here.  I usually wait until I have two carcasses (nasty word, but not sure what else to call it) and then I make soup.  We don't eat the skin of the chicken and since it is all browned up I throw it in the soup because it add great roasted flavor.

Didn't think about that with the skin--throwing it into the soup to add flavor. I will have to try that next time.

Me too.  Totally inexpensive, and we always pick the big fat ones.  If it doesn't reach the top of the lid, I consider it a skinny cheap one and don't buy it.  $4.99 to feed our family twice (once for meat, once for soup) is super cheap to me since I don't have to do any work.
