What did you do this week to save money?

Have you found any good deals?

I took the boys to an open house at the local kid's play place (bounce houses) It was 2 hours for free, free food, and open to us non-members! I repaired a shirt of H's instead of throwing it out and buying new. I got a dollar off gas for transferring a prescription so DH and I both filled up at the same pump. I'm borrowing a friend's bike and trailer while she's out of town for the next couple of weeks. The boys and I have used it for small, local trips: good exercise and saves on gas!

Monday: we didnt spend any money today.

Went to the park to play.

One load of laundry dried out on the line.

Frugal meal for supper: pancakes. I made extra and froze them for quick breakfasts during the week.

Has anyone else not turned air on in a while?  We haven't. Its going to be upper 80's this week so I'll have to turn it on for at least a few hours a day, but I'm interested/excited to see how its affected my electric bill!

I took M to JCP for a free hair cut. We also got free samples at See's, and the kids played on those ride things, though I didn't put any quarters in.

I ordered the free photo collage from Walgreens (still available)

Today I only spent money at the post office to mail a couple certified letters otherwise I stayed home and I did walk up to the post office.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) I won't be going anywhere so no money will be spent.

I scheduled both dd's JCP haircuts on Thursday, so that will be free....plus my mom is taking them as she has some returns to make in the area.

H & I picked corn at DH's co-workers house & only paid $10 for all of it & we just got done freezing it & got 40 bags for the freezer, so $.40/bag......good deal!

Took leftovers for lunch today & DH packed also.

MIL watched the girls while we worked today.....free sitting!

We went to Disneyland today and didn't spend any money.  Took our own snacks, as always, and ate a late lunch when we came home - using up leftovers.

I'm working on my meal plan for shopping trip tomorrow.
