What are your favorite pizza toppings? - Page 2

at home I make mexican pizza. Crust, refried beans, salsa, taco meat, cheese and bake. Top with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. One piece fills you up! To order out we either do canadian bacon and pineapple, sausage or pepperoni. Sometimes bacon.

I love greek pizza:  artichokes, garlic, black olives, red peppers... yum!

Sounds delicious! Is that made with a marinara sauce, or something different?

philly cheese steak pizza  - steak, cheeses, mushrooms, and peppers with no pesky tomatoes to get in the way

No, usually just a brush with olive oil and garlic is all that's needed.  Or, if anything, a white sauce; but not marinara.  And for the cheese, Feta is a must.

My all time favorite is mushrooms (fresh... not the canned ones).  Other than that I am not picky.  Family likes cheese or combo (onions, peppers, mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni).

As long it is a pizza, I love all of it.  The only thing that I don't like is pineapple - but every thing else is GOOD.

I figured feta was a given. But then, I can eat feta all by itself.

 

I was hoping it wasn't marinara - the tomato would overpower all those other delicate flavors.

Grilled tomatoes, w olive oil and feta, are my fave appetizer. It tastes like pizza, without bread or anything else.
