Can you diet with your DH? - Page 2

Dh does not like diets especially anything he considers a "fad." He is all for healthy eating and cutting out junk but he believes in a balanced diet, so no we cannot diet together. In fact if I was on a diet he would yell at me till I quit. We have been making lots of small changed over the past year and have really made improvements. I have not lost weight but I have not gained any either. Once Ds is back in school I plan on starting to jog, a couple of the young ladies on my school's track and field team were happy to talk with me about starting a running routine.

Ya, that wouldn't fly with mine. Lol

There's no way on this planet that dh and I could ever diet together because we have such different metabolisms.  He just looks at food and gains weight while I can vacuum down the Little Debbies and not gain an ounce.

I actually have to say that this has turned into a lot of fun! I know, he drove me batty that first day but since then, he has embraced it, educated himself and now he keeps sending me recipes. His internet searching ability is like a thousand times better than mine. We're even cooking together! We're the only ones in the house following this diet and it kind of is like ... Us against them. It has been a lot of fun believe it or not.
