I have done a lot of cooking at home. School has started back for me so Dh is in charge of stuff for 2 nights each week, so there was some purchasing of easy dinner things, ie chicken nuggets, that I had to do this time.

Made breakfast for supper. Made pancakes and froze the extra that oldest dd has been eating for breakfast this week.

Had a carton of eggs that had an expired date on the container. Did the water test with them and only one had to be thrown away because it floated.

Ran into HyVee this morning and only walked out with what was on sale: half gallon of milk for  $.99, loaf of bread $.99, Jacks pizza $1.88 and cottage cheese $.99.
