What songs from your youth do you still have memorized?

Neighbors and I were having a few drinks and singing songs from our high school/college years. It's funny how many we still have memorized.

 

What songs from  your youth do you still have memorized or can sing along to when it's played on the radio?

I seem to remember every song. Drives DH crazy, because no matter what station he flips to in the car I'm still able to keep on singing along. Is "Don't Forget the Lyrics" still on? I would kick a$$.

I can remember the lyrics to literally thousands of songs. Can't remember what I need from the grocery store unless I make a list.

I remember singing "top of the World" and "one Tin Soldier". In elementary school. I remember lots of other ones too.

hahaha...me too! Hubby get so irritated with me if I forget a list "Why can you remember a phone number from 1980 but you can't remember what you need at the store?!" can often be overheard through the aisles at the grocery store redface.gif

Lots from childhood!  I remember singing one about the "Wells Fargo Wagon coming down the street", one about the "Erie Canal", oh and probably the most memorable one we memorized in 5th grade, "To Sir With Love".    It didn't do a thing for me then, but now thinking about it gives me goose bumps!
