Lost parts bin (picture)

I saw this idea on Pinterest months ago and thought it was a GREAT one, so I adapted it for my own use. I have since adapted it to use in the garage- a jar with a lid I just toss misc. screws or "extra" parts (you know the ones- they are 'leftover' from the project Hubby just put together wink.gif ) into it. I also made one for the kids when I find little pieces of toys (there are always legos or checkers in it!) nothing fancy- a simple label and a Rubbermaid bin, but it has (almost) stopped the "Mom have you seen..." The munchkins know to check the bin first if something is missing. We love it!

That's a great idea.  We have lost parts but nowhere to keep them.

Great idea. I just set things on the counter, they either get picked up or thrown away. Your way is much less permanent haha

I love that! I have to say I end up tossing a lot of stuff and don't really miss it until a while later. I'll have to put this one to use!
