Yes, I'm sure a lot of that gets thrown too.  I'm not sure if those numbers are included.  I just remember that when I was doing research for my Instant Bargains book I found SO many different statistics on that topic it was hard to find one that accurately represented food that gets thrown from regular families' refrigerators.

dh takes them for lunch.

We eat them for lunch. With left over veggies, I freeze them and use them for soups. Last might, we took left over rice and used it for a stir fry with a can of mixed veggies and some ham.

Depending on the type of leftovers the boys' take it for lunch (DS 4 daycare heats it up for him and DS 7 has lunch pretty early so stuff stays warm in his thermos). I work from home so that's usually my lunch!

DH works from home so he eats them for lunch the next day most of the time.  My younger dd hates breakfast food so quite often she'll heat up some leftovers for breakfast.  I know it sounds gross but as long as she's eating a balanced meal, I don't care if it is breakfast food or dinner food.  LOL!

We eat them for leftovers too.  Dh takes them to work or we'll eat them for dinner the next night.  I've been experimenting with making less now that there are only two of us at home.  I don't like to have more than one night of leftovers--and I'm working on even getting that down to none.

We also eat them. Either for lunches or suppers or both. I dont like wasting food especially with how much it costs anymore.

Definitely eat them.  Dh 9 times out of 10 takes them for lunch - there are three of us, so usually I will make 4 of something just in case someone wants more than one.  If that is left over, dh takes it for lunch.  If he doesn't take it for lunch, then I'll chop and freeze it and use it for fried rice (chicken breast/pork loin chop, etc.)  Cooked veggies go in the freezer for soup in the fall/winter.

If we have a lot of leftovers that are not conducive for freezing, one night will be leftover night, and will heat everything left over, no matter how crazy the combination.  I haven't been doing this as often as in the past, since dh takes for lunch more often now.

Most of the time, E will take them for lunch the next day.

I usually eat them for lunch the next day. Sometimes I turn them into a new meal.
