Tell me how this works. Cabinet questions.

We have kitchen cabinets, don't we all. Mine are not too fancy. But they are functional. When we first bought this house, it was supposed to be our "forever" house but we have since realized, we need to be in the country and this will become, probably, the business house.

Has anyone ever just replaced the doors and the hardware on their kitchen counters? What was involved and how much did it cost?

We didn't replace, but we refinished. It was under $100 all said and done for us to do it ourselves ( 16 faces and handles) I just saw something on Flipmen (show in Spike TV) the other night- they framed out the cabinet front and used beadboard then painted and finished with new hardware- it looked FANTASTIC!

BTW- if your hardware is still in good shape- you can paint (spray paint) it and update it too- I did that all over the house instead of buying new hardware and it holds up great (Knock on wood, 4 years or so and no nicks!)
